Using: Vista, IE8, WMP (all up to date)

A few weeks ago the link you click on within the "listen page",
"http://loudcity.com/stations/adagio-fm/files/show/wmp-hd.asx"
failed to connect (at least in IE8).

I don't know if anyone else had this problem ...
but while trying to resolve it I came accross a method
of simply putting a shortcut on my desktop containing the
target address "mms://wm.24seven.fm/afmhd".

It ain't fancy and has no images or additional info associated with it,
but it runs Adagio.FM instantly inside WMP ... without bothering IE at all
(IE used to come up and then trigger WMP).

I am completely happy with the new setup and:
1) wondered if anyone else had a similar problem
2) offer this as an additional way to connect to this station.


note: the problem was this link embedded in the wmp-hd.asx:
"http://loudcity.com/stations/adagio-fm/files/show/wmp-hd_htmlview.asx"

I have not had this problem but I have been onboard only a couple of days.
