If you could please use the [youtube] [/ youtube] (without the space) code for your youtube links, that would be awesome! Smile

Frank Martin (1890-1974)
Mass for unaccompanied double choir
(1922 - 1924 / 1926),

This very difficult piece for mixed double choir a-cappella by the Swiss composer Frank Martin is one of the vocal masterpieces of the 20th century.

And here's an alternate performance of it:

Maurice Durufé (1902-1986)
Ubi caritas

One of four motets (and very sparse choral a-cappella works) by french composer Maurice Duruflé, whose style was to combine gregorianic elements, cantus firmi and melodies with the musical language of the early 20th century and the impressionism.
Especially his Requiem is well-known and also on the Playlist here at AFM.
I've sung this piece myself very often and it's really a shame that it's so hard to find a really good performance of this classic on youtube.

Anyway, I think I've spotted out the most bearable ones. Smile

University of Western Ontario
London, Ontario, Canada

A very interesting male choir version, "The Suspicious Cheese Lords in concert at the Cathedral of St John the Evangelist"

I've found another, really good video of this:

irincou, my pleasure.

I think it's a good alternative to find out about new stuff you may have not heard about before.

That of course shouldn't prevent anyone else from posting their finds as well Smile
