Being the Led Zeppelin fan that I am, I want to have Kashmir: The Symphonic Led Zeppelin available to enjoy here.

I was impressed the very first time that I listened to this CD. Particualry outstanding was "Dawn At The Great Pyramid" followed by "Kashmir".

The majestic orchestration by the London Philharmonic Orchestra really does this piece well ! !

Another standout is "All My Love"

"When The Levee Breaks" does not dissapoint.

Track Listing for "Kashmir : Symphonic Led Zeppelin"

1. Dawn At The Great Pyramid
2. Kashmir
3. The Battle Of Evermore
4. Stairway To Heaven
5. When The Levee Breaks
6. Going To California
7. Friends
8. All My Love
9. Kulu Valley

Nice find, but perhaps this is better placed on Entranced.FM, right? Smile

The links that SYMPHONIC provided link directly to audio clips, so click away and have a listen. Wink

I wouldn't want to completely load the playlist with orchestrations of rock tunes (I foresee another request for Symphonic Pink Floyd coming on), but these are high quality performances, and they might make for interesting, occasional diversions from the standard repertoire.

I vote yes (in spite of my own first instinct).

EXACTLY ! ! Listen... and Vote on the merit of the performance --alone--... Certainly -not- on any "Nostaglia" for Rock or Led Zeppelin Exclamation

Vote on the merit of the performed piece alone ! !

Well, I always have thought: Led Zeppelin made Kashmir to be symphonic, but there was only 4 members in the band, then they had to play it as a rock.

Voted "yes", but still prefer classic classicals.
