I must admit I disagree with this one, cause happiness is too often assimilated as "having what I have not".
And the only way to find happiness is to stop searching for it.

In this case I can agree with you, absolutely. But I think that there are many people who don`t measure happiness with their havings.
And the way you use to search the happiness is important too. If it`s a fixed idea for s.o., then the right way is to stop, but when you are open minded and creative, I don`t see any problems with searching the happiness - you can search it in new opportunities, not only in laughing and smiling, etc.
And one more sentence - A man is happy when have true friends, no matter how much they are.

I like your answer very much, ifich. Man has to search for something, and often the quest is the more important part.
In fact, happiness can be found everywhere, even in the search for it
