A good compilation, but there's also a very good and not too expensive 4-disc compilation which includes all of Ravel's complete orchestral works.

Prices indeed are a problem (see wagner) but to me important is sound quality so add any of those as long as them include a quality concert |

I own this certain 4-CD set and it has a great soundquality. Also the musical performances are very fine.
