|
|
Hi Adagio.fm. I'm not sure of the exact timing, but I've noticed a huge drop in the number of listeners lately. It's the end of October 2017 now and I think within a couple of months or so ago, we used to see upward of 1,000 listeners during the day. Now it's more like 150. Does anyone know if something happened to precipitate such a drop? Just wondering if anyone else has noticed.
Thanks.

Hi Luther_III
It has been low several months now after a major cleaning up in the server... it seems there must be a technical explanation for it. _________________ The secret of not having worries, is to have ideas.

One theory is that a major streaming app dropped us. iTunes or something. Or we aren't showing up well in searches on apps for some reason. _________________ And remember, if you are going to steal themes, make sure you only steal from deaf composers. |

| This means regularly releasing new music, podcasts, and other content. But what happens if you don't keep your presence fresh? Your monthly listeners will drop. Research has shown that when Spotify user stops seeing new content from an artist, they are less likely to continue listening to their music.FM WhatsApp |

Consistency is key to maintaining an engaged audience. Regularly releasing new content keeps listeners interested and helps sustain monthly listener numbers. Without fresh releases, fans may lose interest and move on to other artists, impacting your overall growth and visibility.

Exactly! Stay fresh or fade out consistency keeps your listeners hooked and your numbers growing. |

Analyzing listener behavior and refreshing your approach is key. Sometimes, even adding fun elements like using tools to
tools to generate brat names for character ideas or segments can reignite audience interest. |

I agree with Luther_III—it could be a problem with a major directory.
Directories like TuneIn, Shoutcast, and Icecast are what feed 90% of those non-website listeners. If the server maintenance caused any extended downtime or a change in the stream's metadata feed, these services might have performed an automatic audit and flagged the station as unresponsive or dead, effectively de-listing us.nulls brawl |
