We have the opportunity to have an exclusive interview with Joseph Livingstone.
And you can ask one or more questions.
You can post your question(s) here in this thread until February 19th 2021. After that day I will gather the questions and hand them over to Joseph.
Several prizes will be given away to the members who posted the questions.
From all the questions Joseph will pick the most original, the funniest and most interesting question.
The prizes
The Futility Room + digital copy Dying With The Most Toys, CD signed by Joseph: For the most original question
Physical Overtures + 3 months VIP, CD signed by Joseph: For the most interesting question
Resurrection Time!, CD signed by Joseph: For the most funniest question
(If you are the winner of the VIP membership and you are already a VIP member, the 3 months will be added after the expiring date)
So post your questions here, btw when a question is already posted earlier by another member, that question will go to final question list.
SiriusCreations can post questions as well but is excluded from the prizes.

I have a few questions for Joseph:
What would you consider is the most challenging aspect of composing music?
What famous composer(s) do you admire and how have they inspired you?
What is your favorite piece to perform?

I would also like to ask a question for Joseph Livingstone,
Did the good or bad events in your life affect your compositions? Which piece is the most obvious example of this? If you don't mind, can you tell the story?

Joe,
I know you as a skilled drummer but it
is clear that you have had such the
melodic and harmonic influence.
Which came first? Was it the chicken
or the egg?

Why did you pick Degas's painting "Interior" also known as "The rape" for the cover of Physical Overtures?
How do you choose your covers?... they all seem art sensitive. _________________ The secret of not having worries, is to have ideas.

Joe, several questions:
1) Do any of your immediate family members or more distant relatives compose or perform music?
2) If so, have they had an influence on your work?
3) What instrument or instruments do you play?
Bonus question: If the answer to question 3 is greater than 1, which is your favorite instrument and why?

Little bump.
Thanks for the questions so far.

More by me:
1. Who (or what) is Verloren? Quite a lengthy piece of music compared to other of yours.
2. What was written in those "damage letters"?
3. I would love an explanation of the title "paint on Sundays"!
4. Do you have a favorite piece that you wrote? and what is your favorite genre?
5. Which country would you like to visit when it is safe to travel again, and why? _________________ The secret of not having worries, is to have ideas.

a couple more:
What are the factors you think that will influence emotions to be perceived or induced?
Do you ever find yourself stuck in a rut & you needed a way out due to time pressures i.e. while producing an album? if so what is your personal find a way?
