I think it is sad that Adagio's collection of Richard Wagner's music is fairly limited. Personally I think that Georg Solti's interpretation of Wagner is fantastic. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is as good as ever.
More than anything else, I'd really love to see the Siegfried Idyll added. It has to go down as one of the best birthday presents ever. It would be great to be able to request it on the 140th anniversary of its first performance (Dec 24th). |
