Actually, all the songs are written for the love, aren't they?
For the nature, often a lover, sadness or gladness…
Anatolia has been the migration routes of people throughout history,
perhaps is the center of the ancient world, the intersection point
Alexander's knot, Pandora's box, the meeting point of three religions…
This land is fertile, Cybele's territory, Anatolian lands were irrigated with blood and tears at the same time.
Fahir's work describes the situation of Turkey between 1918 to 1923
Ottoman Empire is a sick man of Europe at the beginning of the century, entered the first world war with Germany. Ottoman territories occupied after the World War I ,
"Isgal" (Invasion) tells this period.
Turks six centuries ruled this land, They had no intentions to leave of course.
Great Leader M.kemal Ataturk founded an army that they live in this land were poor but proud people. Notice that The success of this army against the imperialism was the light of the emergence of The Nation States.
Yol (Way), Heyamo, Anadolu (Anatolia), Ana ( Mother ) describes the difficulties of this term and refers to 1919 - 1920. People are going to the army to defend their homeland. Known fact that children will probably be orphaned. The country is under occupation, The management and the economy has collapsed, people need to have a slice of bread.
There were tears, blood and death in between 1920 and 1922, Years of war heats up.
Pencereden kar geliyor (the snow is coming through the window) , Gelmez yola gidiyorum (No turning back this way) Savaş Başlıyor ( the war has begun ), Savaş ( Thewar ), Taarruz( Attack) , All this song symbolizes the stage of the war.
And July 24, 1923 war ended with the Treaty of Lausanne and was founded the modern Republic of Turkey On October 29, 1923 . The song of Cumhuriyet (Republic) describes these events.
Other songs that are related to the development of democracy.
In short, this is the story of a nation's war of independence
P.S: I'm sorry for my english but I just want to tell the spirit of the songs belonging to a foreign culture.

Clear well played. Picturesque, movie-like. |

I like the quality of the musicians and the composer.
To me it sounds indeed like a soundtrack of a movie telling of struggle,
battle, happiness and clear winning end.
I like the sounds. If it had a picture it would be nice on SST too,
in my opinion. :)
Haino.

In 1934, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk wrote the famous words that reached out to the mothers of his former enemies.
“Those heroes that shed their blood
And lost their lives.
You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country.
Therefore, rest in peace.
There is no difference between the Johnnies
And the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side
Here in this country of ours,
You, the mothers,
Who sent their sons from far away countries
Wipe away your tears,
Your sons are now lying in our bosom
And are in peace
After having lost their lives on this land they have
Become our sons as well”.
