Based on Barber's "Adagio for Strings" ~ this choral version appears, on hearing, to have been done by a small group. I am guessing it's "The Sixteen" and they do a superb job of it, with exquisite modulations, intonation, and phrasing. Although it lacks some of the drama which the climax can demonstrate when sung with more volume, the group achieves the same effect by their use of subtlety.
