Newman made a very nice score. This is also my all time favorite movie adapted from Stephen King's novella Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption.
The score brings you in the right mood.
The whole album can be found on StreamingSoundTracks
Here the only track of that soundtrack is The Marriage Of Figaro.
Of course the scenes when The Marriage Of Figaro is played and afterwards when Andy came back from the hole says (see my signature and title of this little review) gives a good illustration of survival.
So enjoy the very nice version.
